It is a collaborative work, driven by our shared passion for trees and the natural world, and our desire to truly understand the trees on Bonaire well enough to share our joy and advocate effectively for their protection. Trees are not isolated. They form an intrinsic part of the natural fabric of this island. And on a small island like Bonaire, the connections between trees and everything else, including coral reefs, insects, birds, soil and water, are short and consequential.
